My sister recently just celebrated her birthday, so it was the perfect excuse we needed to spend an extended weekend in the historic city of New Orleans. Three days was the ideal amount of time for our trip, and I wouldn’t recommend staying for longer unless you’re go...

About DC Trinity

Hey my name is Petal McDonald and i know being in your 20’s or 30's can be hard especially if you want to enjoy the city as much as possible with limited funds. Personally I enjoy finding new restaurants to try, free events to attend (or inexpensive events), enjoying the night life and finding the right workout classes (which is still a struggle for me). My aim in starting this blog is to provide my potential reader with a starting point for how to navigate the city, while staying within their budget and having a good time. I use the word city loosely because even though majority of my pieces on this blog will center on activities in DC , not all of them are found within the city, which is definitely not a bad thing.
