If you’re familiar with the Bethesda area, you would know that Anthropologie and Co. currently occupy the old Barnes and Noble space,  but what intrigues me about this Anthropologie and Co. location is that they opened a café inside the store called Terrain Café.  I lo...

I am a big fan that H street restaurant scene is developing, especially since it is the only area in DC where you can find street parking with no issues. Typically when I go out to eat, I prefer going somewhere that entails me getting a little dressed up, but I decided...

Eaton Hotel located in downtown D.C. on K Street made a big splash in DC’s hospitality scene when they opened last year. Simply put,   their mission statement is to be environmentally friendly, by using sustainable food and organic materials, which is not a novelty ide...

I took a short hiatus over the summer from blogging, but the free time allowed me the opportunity to try tons of different restaurants that I can't wait to share with you guys, one of  them being Boqueria. Unlimited brunch with bottomless drinks for under $40 is litera...

A month ago I had dinner at City Perch Kitchen + Bar  and did a blog post about my experience.  To summarize, I stated that it was definitely on my agenda to go back for either brunch or happy hour since I enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Flash forward to last Sunday...

About DC Trinity

Hey my name is Petal McDonald and i know being in your 20’s or 30's can be hard especially if you want to enjoy the city as much as possible with limited funds. Personally I enjoy finding new restaurants to try, free events to attend (or inexpensive events), enjoying the night life and finding the right workout classes (which is still a struggle for me). My aim in starting this blog is to provide my potential reader with a starting point for how to navigate the city, while staying within their budget and having a good time. I use the word city loosely because even though majority of my pieces on this blog will center on activities in DC , not all of them are found within the city, which is definitely not a bad thing.
