Miami has been on my list of places to go for a while, so I was super excited to celebrate my friend 30th birthday in South Beach.  We went on the first weekend in November, which unbeknownst to us was the offseason. We still had a great time, but it definitely would h...

About DC Trinity

Hey my name is Petal McDonald and i know being in your 20’s or 30's can be hard especially if you want to enjoy the city as much as possible with limited funds. Personally I enjoy finding new restaurants to try, free events to attend (or inexpensive events), enjoying the night life and finding the right workout classes (which is still a struggle for me). My aim in starting this blog is to provide my potential reader with a starting point for how to navigate the city, while staying within their budget and having a good time. I use the word city loosely because even though majority of my pieces on this blog will center on activities in DC , not all of them are found within the city, which is definitely not a bad thing.
